Gift vouchers are available to purchase in the above price ranges. They are valid for one year from the date of purchase. The voucher can be sent via either post or email.

Terms and Conditions for Pet Portraits

​

Deposit

​

A 25% deposit will be required to book a pet portrait commission. The time taken to complete the commission will depend on the length of my waiting list. If the artwork is required for a specific date please discuss this with me before confirming a booking. Once the commission has been started, the deposit will become non-refundable due to time spent on planning and materials used. On completion of the artwork, a watermarked image will be sent to you for approval. If you are not happy with your commission, the remaining balance will not need to be paid and I will retain both the artwork and the non-refundable deposit (this has never happened). Payment is to be made via either bank transfer or PayPal.

Postage

​

All postage costs and the remaining balance are to be paid to me in full before the artwork is posted. I can sometimes hand deliver artwork depending on your location. Artwork will be posted via a tracked and signed for service. Please note, any delays within the postal service are out of my control.

Damage in Transit

​

I package my artwork very well but in the unlikely event that it becomes damaged in transit, you must send photos of the packaging and damage to me via email as soon as possible. The artwork will be returned to me in its original packaging and a replacement will be made at no additional cost. The client is responsible for all postage costs.

Sizes

​

I produce pet portraits on A4, A3 or A2 paper sizes, which have set prices (please see above). Please contact me for quotes for bespoke sizes and additional animals. Pets will be drawn with professional artist quality colour pencil crayons on professional artist quality paper. The head and shoulders or full body of the animal will be drawn with no background. If a background is required, please discuss this with me first before making a booking as an extra charge may be required depending on the additional time it will take to complete. The backgrounds I can add tend to be minimal (a suggestion rather than photo-real). The artwork will be completed in my artistic style (please see my Pet Portraits portfolio on my website for examples of my work). A signed certificate of authenticity will be supplied with the artwork.

Photos

​

High quality digital photographs of the pet will be required during the initial enquiry stage. High quality photos should show your pet in good light and will not be blurry/pixelated when zoomed in. I reserve the right to cancel a commission if a suitable photo cannot be supplied, as I will not be able to produce the artwork to a high standard. If you have several photos of your pet, I will be happy to look through and advise which I believe will work best. I will ensure that you are happy with the selection prior to confirming the commission.

Copyright

​

I will retain the copyright of the artwork and permission will need to be obtained before any reproductions of the artwork are made. If you are using someone else's photographs of your pet, their permission will need to be given before they are sent to me to use.
